My respect for Samantha Power’s judgment has just taken a serious hit. I’ve only now learned she has recently married Cass Sunstein. Here’s Bruce Fein’s opinion about Sunstein:

Jack – Does your beef with Sunstein extend beyond what Fein attributes to him here? If so, I’d be interested to hear what it is. If not, I think that you’re too quick to dismiss him.

Maybe, but most of my scorn comes from having listened to his debate with Greenwald on Democracy Now. He was extraordinarily unimpressive and mealy-mouthed in his remarks there and formulaic and cliched to a disturbing degree for someone who has such a reputation. Can you refer me to anything that might change my mind about him?
