He was continuously told by his lawyers that No you can’t do that–and he does it anyway.
I have no doubt it would be an open and shut case against anybody who isn’t Donald Trump. The real problem is whether you’ll be able to find a jury that could impartially make a judgment on the facts and the law. Garland has got to worry about whether some Trump loyalist will get on the jury to hang it.
